According to the provisions of the Food Safety Law and its implementation regulations, the National Health and Family Planning Commission organized the drafting of 121 national food safety standards (draft for public comment) including 'Calcium Chloride as a Food Additive'.

In accordance with the provisions of the Food Safety Law and its implementation regulations, the National Health and Family Planning Commission has organized the drafting of 121 national food safety standards (draft for public consultation), including 'Calcium Chloride Food Additive', and is now publicly soliciting opinions from relevant national departments and society (the draft and preparation instructions can be downloaded from the National Health and Family Planning Commission websitehttp://www.nhfpc.gov.cn). The deadline for feedback is November 25, 2014. Feedback can be submitted online at: Food Safety National Standard Management Information System (http://bz.cfsa.net.cn/cfsa_aiguo). It is expected that the new food standards will be officially implemented in the near future.
