The "2008 China-U.S. Economic Cooperation Forum," jointly organized by the Youmei China International Cooperation Promotion Association, the American Small Business Association, the American City Association, and Chinese government departments, was grandly held in Shanghai on June 4-5, 2008. The CEO of Boshi Zhixing and Ms. Lee were invited to attend this grand event, where they had productive exchanges with four American mayors and some American entrepreneurs who attended the meeting, and took a group photo.
Since 2001, this conference has been held annually in major cities of China and the United States, rapidly developing into an important platform for economic cooperation and exchanges between Chinese and American small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as between small and medium-sized cities in China and the United States. By the end of 2007, 40 sessions had been held between cities in China and the U.S., with over 8,500 Chinese and American enterprises participating in discussions. The number of government officials and entrepreneurs attending the meetings exceeded 16,000. More than 50 senior officials at the deputy ministerial level and above from both countries have participated in the meetings. As one of the "designated Chinese cooperative enterprises" recognized by the organization, Boshi Zhixing's attendance at this meeting holds significant practical significance.
