In order to standardize the exercise of administrative punishment right of the food and drug administrative authorities, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, legal persons and other organizations, China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) formulated the Provisions on the Procedures for Food and Drug Administrative Punishments. The Provisions was adopted at the executive meeting of China Food and Drug Administration on March 14, 2014, and was promulgated as CFDA Order No.3 on April 28, 2014. The Provisions will come into force on June 1, 2014.
